The CHAIR ( 02 ) explores the relationship between the human body and transformed material. Its form is shaped through a dialogue between support and vulnerability, where burnt wood carries visible traces of its passage through fire. Ash and oak are combined to emphasize contrast in grain, tone, and response to heat, allowing each element to assert its identity within the whole.
Here, destruction becomes constructive: fire strips away surface uniformity, revealing depth and history embedded within the wood.
